Al Nawras Island will be home to the first LXR branded property in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.

LXR Hotels & Resorts, Hilton’s collection of independent luxury properties, announced the signing of an agreement for the new resort on March 21, 2022.

Expected to open in 2023, the all-villa Al Nawras Island, LXR Hotels & Resorts will offer 80 large, elegantly designed beach and water villas as well as a nearly 4,845-square-foot, two-bedroom Royal Villa. The property will surround a state-of-the-art golf course.

The new resort will place a strong emphasis on exploration, expression, and wellbeing. Its leisure and recreational facilities will include an upscale gym, fitness studio, and three swimming pools – one indoor and two outdoor. It will also have tennis and paddle courts, a private marina, exclusive beach club, a spa and dedicated amenities for children (playground, swimming pool, splash pad and kid’s club).

Drink and dining options at the resort will include two signature restaurants with al fresco dining areas, two bars and a wellness-inspired café.
