Caesars Virginia will officially open its doors on Thursday, December 12, 2024.
Located in Danville, Virginia, the world-class resort offers:
- a 320-room hotel tower;
- a 587,000-square-foot casino resort;
- 50,000 square feet of meeting and convention space that also serves as a 2,500-seat live entertainment venue;
- a full-service spa;
- a pool;
- and a wide variety of dining and drink options, including the recently announced Ramsay’s Kitchen by multi-Michelin-starred chef and television personality Gordon Ramsay and the 500 Block Food Hall by local developer Rick Barker and local restaurateur Steve Parry, as well as multiple bars and lounges.

Caesars Virginia’s opening follows Danville Casino, the temporary facility that opened in May 2023. Since the facility’s opening, it has paid more than $66 million to the City of Danville and The Commonwealth in gaming taxes. Caesars Virginia is owned by Caesars Entertainment and venture partners EBCI Holdings and Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.
