Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is opening properties in Japan, India, Vietnam and Thailand in 2025.
The new properties are:
Fairmont Mumbai (India) – Opening in April 2025, Fairmont Mumbai is conveniently located near the city’s international airport. it offers 446 luxurious rooms and suites, five globally inspired restaurants, a wellness longevity suite, and an outdoor pool. Its meeting and event spaces include a Grand Ballroom that can host move than 2,000 guests.
Fairmont Udaipur Palace (India) – Set to open in July 2025, Fairmont Udaipur Palace is located on 18 acres in the Aravalli Hills. This hilltop palace evokes Rajasthan’s centuries-old heritage with its intricately carved marble columns, high-domed ceilings, regal verandas, and bespoke inlaid flooring. It will feature 327 luxury guestrooms; a variety of dining venues and bars, serving Mediterranean, southern Italian, Asian and global cuisines; and more than 130,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event spaces.
Fairmont Tokyo (Japan) – Opening July 2025, Fairmont Tokyo occupies the south tower of the Blue Front Shibaura Project (rendering top of post). Located just 13 minutes from Haneda Airport and near major rail hubs, the hotel has 217 guestrooms and suites with views of Tokyo Bay and the city skyline. Amenities will include a spa, a fitness center, indoor infinity pool, five restaurants, two bars, and multiple event spaces. Its Fairmont Grand Ballroom – one of Tokyo’s grandest ballrooms – accommodates up to 1,200 guests.
Fairmont Hanoi (Vietnam) – The brand’s first property in Vietnam is expected to open in November 2025. Located near Hoan Kiem Lake and the city’s Old Quarter, it is designed by Perkins Eastman and Aston Design, who have blended Indochinese motifs with French colonial influences. Fairmont Hanoi will have 241 guestrooms, six dining and bar venues (including a rooftop restaurant, a spa, a fitness center, a bathhouse, and two swimming pools.
Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit (Thailand) – Also slated to open in November 2025, Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit will have 419 guestrooms, specialty restaurants, a rooftop bar, wellness and spa centers, and meeting and event spaces. It will feature a curated selection of artistic decor and handcrafted furniture that add to its design story – “The Fantastic Journey of Travel to the Bygone Era.” Located within walking distance of main transportation hubs, the hotel will be LEED and WELL Green-certified.
