The new Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr is now confirming reservations ahead of its grand opening in early 2024.
“Our new property in Rabat is an excellent complement to our established hotels in Casablanca and Marrakech, providing guests a new opportunity to experience Morocco with Four Seasons,” says Adrian Messerli, president, Hotel Operations – Europe, Middle East and Africa, Four Seasons. “No detail has been overlooked by our esteemed owner partners at Atlantic Coast Company in restoring, renovating and enhancing this important site as a setting for a new era of luxury and glamour in the city, with the personalized service and genuine heart that characterizes Four Seasons experience the world over.”
The historic Kasr Al Bahr (“palace by the sea”) was once a Sultan’s summer residence and later a military hospitality. Today, the fully restored and enhanced property includes six heritage and five new buildings on 12 acres along Rabat’s oceanfront.
Accommodations include 200 guestrooms and suites, most with balconies or terraces with ocean or garden views. A highlight is the Sultan’s Riad. Spread over two floors within a restored 18th century heritage building, it encompasses close to 10,000 square feet of rooms, a private infinity-style pool, and can accommodate up to six adults and three children.
Dining and drinking options at Four Seasons Hotel Rabat include Brasserie Marie (classic French cuisine), Verdello (ingredient-driven Mediterranean fare), Flamme (eatery by the two outdoor pools), Noora Lobby Lounge (afternoon tea service), Bar Atlantique (international cocktails), and the Cigar Bar, a space hidden within the palace’s oldest building.
The spa complex at the property is comprised of an indoor saltwater pool, a traditional Moroccan hammam, private treatment rooms, full-service salon and a 24-hour fitness center with an outdoor terrace for yoga classes. The resort’s two outdoor pools – a resort-style pool and an ocean-view infinity pool – a set in gardens with palm, olive and citrus trees.
Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr also offers 29,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a Royal Ballroom accommodating up to 1,000 guests, junior ballroom, seven breakout rooms, and a private open-air terrace.
