Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort is now open.
The 735-room property is Hilton’s largest resort in the Caribbean and Latin America, and its second resort in Tulum, which recently welcomed Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya. Nearly 30 additional Hilton-branded properties are set to open in Mexico in the coming years.
HBA San Francisco designed the resort to integrate with Tulum’s natural environment. Design details include a soothing colour palette that emphasizes Tulum’s white sand beaches and shallow waters, materials sourced from local artisans, and pathways from guestroom doors to the ocean that weave through dense palm trees.
Guestrooms offer private balconies with nature or ocean views. Each of the resort’s 59 suites features ocean-facing balconies alongside large living and dining areas and spacious king bedrooms with comfortable sitting areas. Suites also feature an upscale bathroom with oversize vanity and walk-in rainfall shower.
Amenities at the resort include eight pools and five Jacuzzis, a fitness centre with yoga studio and spinning room, and a Family Zone offering a kids-only splash pool with a water park playground, play area and activities.
The property also has 13 concept-driven restaurants. These dining options include an all-day dining buffet at Vela; Azulinda, a deli-style coffee shop for quick snacks; and Cocomar Ceviche, which serves the freshest fish cured in citrus juices and spiced Mexican seasonings.
In addition, the resort is home to Tulum’s only purpose-built event centre. The 55,000-square-foot facility is shared with Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya, allowing for dual-resort events. It features modern décor and large windows that deliver ample natural light along with beautiful views. Spaces include a 9,000-square-foot outdoor terrace, Main Ballroom, Junior Ballroom, and three meeting spaces that can accommodate up to 1,800 people.
“Tulum provides a unique market to expand and elevate our all-inclusive footprint and showcase our diverse range of brand experiences to meet the needs of travelers,” said Matt Schuyler, chief brand officer, Hilton. “Joining Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya and the anticipated debut of our first lifestyle property in the region, Motto by Hilton Tulum, the opening of Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort provides guests with even more options to experience our brands in this desirable travel destination.”
The property is located eight miles north of Tulum and 60 miles south of Cancun International Airport.
