Did your event have an impact on its host destination and society?
The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) and BestCities Global Alliance are are now accepting submissions for the 2025 Incredible Impacts Programme – a global platform honoring the value of international association meetings that leave a positive, lasting impact in their host destinations across the world.
The program offers two cash awards each year: a main grant of $20,000 USD and a seed grant of $5,000 USD. Submissions are open for both grants and will be accepted until June 2, 2025. For the main grant, shortlisted applicants will be asked to complete a second submission with the finalists revealed the week of August 11, 2025. For the seed grant, finalists will also be announced the week of August 11, 2025.
The winners of both cash prizes will be announced at the Incredible Impacts Programme session at the ICCA Congress, November 9-12, 2025.
New this year, the submission process has been streamlined and simplified, making it easier than ever for associations to apply.
“Every year, the Incredible Impacts Programme is awarded to an outstanding member of the meetings and events community that is working to make real positive change,” said Senthil Gopinath, ICCA CEO. “ICCA is proud to be a part of this effort to support the power of global events to affect host communities around the world and showcase our industry as a driver of impactful initiatives.”
In 2024, the main Incredible Impacts Programme grant was awarded to the European Academy of Childhood Disability (EACD), while the seed grant was distributed to the International Cartilage Regeneration and Joint Preservation Society (ICRS). Read their case studies for details and inspiration HERE.
