InterContinental Chantilly Château Mont Royal has joined IHG’s growing luxury and lifestyle portfolio.

Redefining a quintessentially 19th-century château, the property is just 30 minutes by train from Paris, France. Built in the early 20th century, the original building of Château Mont Royal is in the Louis XVI architectural style and designed by Guillaume Tronchet. Now, InterContinental Chantilly Château Mont Royal is open following a transformative renovation project, which restored the building’s original heritage while adding luxuries for modern guests.

The hotel’s 109 guestrooms and suites have been redesigned to instill a sense of calm and elegance, with interiors inspired by the beauty of the hotel’s biophilic surroundings, the region’s equestrian traditions, and the intricacies of Chantilly lace. Each room is flooded with natural light from expansive windows, balconies and terraces which overlook the surroundings.

The château’s former music salon features “majestic chandeliers” and high ceilings and is now the setting for the property’s gourmet restaurant, L’Opera.  Once the library and smoking room of the building’s original owner Fernand Halphen, Le Stradivarius is now a warm and inviting eatery. The menu across the hotel’s two signature restaurants – L’Opéra and Le Stradivarius – reimagine classical French dishes and celebrate the region’s  seasonal produce. Chef Cédric Jean-Charles presents classic French dishes, complemented by a curation of fine wines.

Spa Biologique Recherche is operated in partnership with the French cosmetics brand, Biologique Recherche. It offers a dedicated sauna and wellness rooms, providing tailored treatments and rejuvenating therapies such as the Skin Instant Lab.
