One Nature Hotels has announced that its second property – One Nature Mara River Lodge in Tanzania – will officially open in June 2024.
Located near the Mara River in Northern Serengeti National Park, the lodge is comprised of seven villas: one-bedroom luxury villas that can accommodate three people, and the Presidential Family Villa, which has two bedrooms, each with ensuite bathroom, that can accommodate up to six people.
All villas have eco-friendly engineered wood flooring, solar-powered air conditioners, in-room wood-burning fire stoves, a fridge, and glass walls. They also have private heated pools with views of the Serengeti, complete with an outdoor lounge area and three bathing options (indoor and outdoor shower, copper bathtub, and an ensuite bathroom).
One Nature Mara River’s proximity to the river and within the national park gives guests the chance to see African game and witness the spectacle of the Great Wildebeest Migration River Crossing. To facilitate animal sightings the lodge offers luxury safari game drives with the open four-seater or semi-closed six-seater safari vehicle as well as hot air balloon safaris, sundowners, walking safaris and bush breakfasts.
“At One Nature Mara River, we’re honored to invite guests to a heartfelt union of luxury and nature’s embrace in the Serengeti,” said Hani Saliba, CEO of One Nature Hotels. “Amidst breathtaking landscapes and soul-stirring wildlife encounters, we encourage a deep connection with our planet – one people, one planet, one nature.”
Rates at One Nature Mara River are inclusive of all meals, soft drinks, beers, premium wines and spirits, WiFi, laundry, daily game drives and round-trip transfers from the Kogatende Airstrip.
An ultra-luxury boutique hotel group, One Nature opened its first property – One Nature Nyaruswiga, Serengeti – in June 2017. It features accommodations in 14 luxury tents. Committed to sustainable luxury tourism, One Nature reports that it is dedicated to controlling the environmental impact of its properties.
