Accor has announced a landmark signing to bring its flagship premium brand, Pullman, to the heart of Tokyo’s upscale Ginza district.
Pullman Tokyo Ginza is expected to open in 2027. The hospitality company reports that it will offer a blend of modern comfort, immersive design, and pioneering experiences.
The newly built hot will feature 145 contemporary guestrooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a destination bar, a well-equipped gym, a Club Lounge and a Lobby Lounge. Designed to cater to the needs of the modern bleisure traveler, it will also have innovate meeting, events, and business spaces that will blend productive workspaces with social areas.
“The signing of Pullman Tokyo Ginza reinforces Accor’s commitment to meeting the growing demand for premium accommodation in Japan,” said Garth Simmons, chief operating officer of Accor’s Premium, Midscale, and Economy Division in Asia. “Its prime location, with high visibility and a constant influx of visitors from around the world, ensures that the hotel will establish itself as a key player in the Japanese hospitality market.”
Accor’s premium segment continues to see rapid growth in Japan, driving by brands such as Pullman, Swissôtel, and Grand Mercure. The signing of Pullman Tokyo Ginza marks a strategic milestone in the Group’s expansion across Japan and Asia. Currently, Accor operates 45 hotels with a total of 11,635 keys across nine brands in the luxury and lifestyle (L&L), and premium, midscale, and economy (PM&E) segments. The company also has a pipeline of four hotels scheduled to open by 2029.
