The Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel & Spa in Arizona has completed a nine-month, multi-million dollar renovation.
The extensive makeover of the AAA Four Diamond property, which is operated by Atrium Hospitality, spanned all guest accommodations, lobby, common areas, conference center, fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, restaurants and bars, and 100,000 square feet of meeting space.
The 342-key hotel is located in Phoenix’s popular Westgate Entertainment District, and is a short walk from the Desert Diamond Arena and the State Farm Stadium.

Highlights of the renovation include:
- improved guest accommodations (278 rooms and 46 suites), including ample charging stations, more room options with walk-in showers with wand and fixed shower heads, 55″ smart TVs, wood grain finishes, new lighting fixtures, new pillowtop beds with white duvets, and functional desks as well as moveable work surfaces;
- 10 Pure Wellness guest accommodations – a new premium upgrade – with specially treated surfaces and air in rooms;
- 100,000 square feet of newly upgraded indoor meeting space, featuring high ceilings, no columns, and subdividable options. For example, The Media Center Ballroom – the hotel’s largest event space – can be configured for a range of gatherings, including 3,400 in theater style, 2,700 in banquet rounds, and 1,690 classroom style;
- the renovated and rebranded Desert Sage Restaurant & Bar, which offers indoor and outdoor seating;
- a transformed, modern lobby with generous seating;
- an abundance of LED lighting;
- and unique artwork, wall installations, and large video screens with time-lapsed desert scenes.
