Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort in St. Lucia this week debuted the $12-million dollar refresh of its 65-acre property.
Renovations at the 220-key resort, which is located in the hills of Labrelotte Bay, include the revitalization of enhanced luxury estate villas, new Ocean Point Residences, a refreshed lobby, an innovative culinary program, and updated accommodations.
Influenced by its Caribbean meets Mediterranean setting, the new design blends nautical and coastal elements, and uses soft neutrals and pops of St. Lucia blue. Custom-made wood furnishings, including Mindi and teak, are used throughout spaces to provide contrast. Natural rope and rattan furnishings transform outdoor spaces.
Other highlights of Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort’s renovation include:
- A reimagined lobby space featuring high vaulted ceiling beams, an open-air concept, elegant chandeliers, contemporary furniture, marble floors, a new reception area, an ambassadors lounge, and a coffee bar by day/wine bar by night concept.
- The Manor Collection: The resort’s revitalized luxury estate villas, complete with in-ground pools, are perched a top a hillside and offer views of the Caribbean Sea. The Presidential Manor, which will be unveiled later this year, is the largest villa on-site, at more than 4,000 square feet. It features a 45′ x 20′ swimming pool, driveway, and adjunct living space perfect for extended family or friends.
- Ocean Point Residences: Each of these newly-built, two- and three-bedroom beachfront villas has multiple, outdoor terraces, a private infinity pool, fully-equipped kitchens, artwork showcasing Caribbean culture and landscape by local artists, smart technology, and more. A new Ocean Point Club House is an exclusive lounge for Ocean Point Residence guests. It features a dedicated concierge desk and private check-in area.
- A completely renovated signature restaurant: The revamped Dragonfly, which serves breakfast and dinner, has a new rooftop bar and lounge called “The Perch by Dragonfly.”
