AC Hotel by Marriott St. Julian’s has opened, marking the lifestyle brand’s arrival in Malta.

Owned and managed by The Ona Hospitality Ltd., the 106-key property is located in the heart of the seaside town, close to beaches, restaurants and the capital city of Valetta.

Italy’s Fabris & Partners led the design of the property, which has 106 rooms furnished with plush bedding, Nespresso coffee machines and an ergonomic workspace.

Inspired by the natural and urban environments surrounding the hotel, the design and architecture firm used a neutral, calming color palette and natural materials in the public spaces and guestrooms.

In keeping with Malta’s renowned food scene, the property also features an AC Lounge® on the rooftop terrace. There guests can enjoy signature cocktails and European-style tapas along with views of St. Julian’s skyline.

Other facilities include a heated outdoor rooftop pool, an indoor pool, a 570-square-foot meeting space with seating for up to 40 people, and a gym featuring state-of-the-art Matrix equipment.
