The Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort has expanded its range of wellness experiences with the opening of the BDMS Wellness Clinic Retreat.

The clinic is part of the Bangkok Dusit Medical Services (BDMS) network, Thailand’s largest operator of private hospitals with more than 50 facilities in Thailand and Cambodia.

Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort is located on the banks of Bangkok’s Chao Phraya river in 11 acres of lush tropical gardens. The luxury property has 281 guestrooms and 95 suites as well as a signature Anantara Spa with nine treatment rooms.

The new clinic offers signature wellness check-up packages that are comprehensive wellness assessment programs aimed at the early detection and prevention of diseases. The programs also analyse signs of biological and bio-chemical ageing processes to improve health and help maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle; slow the ageing process; and increase longevity.

Other speciality check-up treatments include:

• telomere length measurement
• NK cell activity diagnostics and treatment
• cancer screening
• intravenous fluid treatements

A range of aesthetic services in facily and body treatments, which use the latest technologies and performed under the close supervision of specialized dermatologists, are also available.

Multiday check-ups and treatments at the clinic include accommodations at Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort and incorporate treatments at the Anantara Spa that draw from healing practices of East and West.

In addition, the clinic’s nutritionists and the resort’s culinary team have designed wellness cuisine menus that can be personalized according to guests’ dietary requirements and tastes.

As an example, the clinic’s three-night Detox Package includes accommodation for three nights and daily wellness breakfast and lunch. It is designed to boost the immune system, help prevent cardiovascular, neurological and age-related degenerative diseases, and increase the production of collagen for the body and skin with antioxidants. Supplementary healing treatments and supervised activities include a detox intravenous drip; a green tea detox body wrap; a Himalayan thermal therapy treatment; a nutrition consultation; and daily yoga sessions and Thai herbal steam treatments. Rates start at approximately $1,225 US for the three nights.

Other wellness accommodation packages focus on anti-aging and wellness check-ups.
