Hilton has signed the DoubleTree by Hilton Belfast City Ten Square in Northern Ireland as part of a franchise agreement with the Loughview Leisure Group. Situated in the Linen Quarter directly adjacent to Belfast City Hall, the hotel will undergo a multi-million refurbishment before joining the brand later year.
This announcement marks another step in Hilton’s expansion across Northern Ireland, following the recent signing of DoubleTree by Hilton Derry-Londonderry and The Marcus Hotel Portrush, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, both scheduled to open this year. In addition to the signing, the Loughview Leisure Group recently completed a multi-million-pound refurbishment of DoubleTree by Hilton Belfast Templepatrick on the Kingfisher Country Estate, including a comprehensive renovation of all guest rooms, spa facilities, public areas and the 220-acre parkland golf course.
DoubleTree by Hilton Belfast City Ten Square features 131 guestrooms and suites, including the Jaffe Penthouse, with many rooms offering views of the city and the surrounding hills. The hotel also has a variety of dining and leisure facilities. The Linen Bar, located on the ground floor, pays homage to Belfast’s industrial past as a global center for linen production. The Doffer, open Fridays and Saturdays, is a stylish ground-floor tap room. Jospers Steakhouse serves expertly prepared meals. And the Loft Lounge is a rooftop bar with an outdoor terrace that provides views of the city. It also has four versatile meeting rooms.
The property’s central location gives guests easy access to the city’s top attractions, including Titanic Belfast, the Cathedral Quarter, and more than 3,000 acres of parks. It is an 11-minute drive from George Best Belfast City Airport and 30 minutes by car from Belfast International Airport.
