Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts has announced its newest project, the Bvlgari Resort & Mansions Cave Cay, in The Bahamas.

Scheduled to open in 2029, it will be comprised of 64 luxury suites and seafront villas as well as 48 Bvlgari-branded private mansions and estates.

Located in the Exumas, Cave Cay is a 220-acre private island with numerous white sand beaches, caves, and hills with views of the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.

The resort is slated to offer a wide range of facilities including an extensive spa and wellness center, a multi-sports enclave, kids’ club, a signature beach club called La Spiaggia, the renowned Bvlgari Bar, and Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, curated by the three Michelin-starred Chef Niko Romito.

It will also have a full-activated marina, which will accommodate the docking needs of residents and be the starting point for watersports and experiences such as excursions to secluded islands and sand dunes. The marina will also front a promenade offering a variety of shops and gastronomic experiences.

“The Exumas have been establishing themselves in recent years as the ultimate glamorous destination in the Caribbean, attracting the most prestigious and sophisticated clients,” said Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bvlgari. “We are thrilled to present such an extraordinary project, which will become not only the first Bvlgari resort in the Caribbean but also a new point of reference for the community of upscale and discerning travelers who already know and appreciate the other ‘gems of hospitality’ in the Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts Collection. We envision the Bvlgari Resort Cave Cay to shine as the ultimate sustainable luxury destination and experience in the region, crafted by the Roman Jeweler of Hospitality.”

Emile Haddad, a leading investor in Cave Cay Limited Partnership – the owner of the Cave Cay project – and chairman of the Board for Cave Cay General Partner Ltd, the manager of Cave Cay Limited Partnership and developer of the project, said: “Our group is made up of international investors and stakeholders who have built award-winning communities as well as hotels and resorts globally. This partnership with Bvlgari brings together people who share a similar philosophy about building places. A philosophy founded in quality, sustainability, and providing a superior experience at every level. The Bvlgari Resort & Mansions at Cave Cay is consistent with the Bahamian government’s vision of making the Exuma the premiere destination in the Caribbean.”

Exuma is a district in The Bahamas comprised of 365 islands.
