A date change has been announced for IMEX in Frankfurt 2022.

IMEX Group has confirmed that the show will be held May 31-June 2, 2022 at Messe Frankfurt rather than April 26-28.

According to its organizer, the increase in cases of the COVID-19 variant, Omicron, across Europe and around the world along with current regulatory uncertainty caused IMEX chairman Ray Bloom and CEO, Carina Bauer, to review their plans, together with their host venue, city and industry partners. They accepted Messe Frankfurt’s offer of new dates for 2022, retaining the option of moving back to the show’s late-spring dates in the future.

“Everyone in our industry can see the current situation in Europe and knows that with trade shows depending on such long lead times, it doesn’t support a show in April,” explains Bauer. “We strongly believe that a late May edition of IMEX in Frankfurt will allow everyone to move ahead and plan with certainty and confidence. Having recently come off a highly successful IMEX America, we’re completely focused on building a strong return for IMEX in Frankfurt and we’re also keenly aware of how much our industry needs IMEX to bring everyone together and prove that business regeneration and good lead flow is not only viable but closer than some may think.”

Registration for IMEX in Frankfurt will go live the week of January 17, 2022.

IMEX in Frankfurt 2022 will take place at Messe Frankfurt from Tuesday, May 31st to June 2nd, 2022. Education Monday, a dedicated day of tailored education for special groups such as corporate, association, and agency buyers, will be held on May 30, 2022. IMEX America will be held October 11-13, 2022 at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
