Mexico’s Riviera Maya/Cancun and the JW Marriott Hotel Mexico City Polanco have the top spots on Cvent’s 2025 lists of the Top Meeting Destinations and Top Meeting Hotels for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).
“Our global Top Meeting Hotels and Top Meeting Destinations lists are essential resources for planners seeking exceptional places and venues for their events and the expansion of our lists to include Latin America & Caribbean highlights the continued increase in planners sourcing to the region,” said Bharet Malhotra, Cvent executive vice-president of Hospitality Cloud. “Meetings and events generate substantial economic benefits for local communities, so it is imperative that hotels and convention and visitors bureaus actively champion their regions, engage planners at an early stage, and prioritize RFP responses to attract more group business.”
The destination and hotel rankings are determined based on insights gleaned from the more than $18B of global sourcing and request-for-proposal (RFP) activity through Cvent’s sourcing platforms in 2024, including $16.5B through the Cvent Supplier Network. This is the first time that Cvent has featured the LAC region in its own list.
