Thirty-nine destinations participating in UNITE 2020

Thirty-nine destinations from around the world are participating in the inaugural edition of UNITE, Salient Inc.'s global virtual trade show. Thirty-nine destinations from across five continents are taking part in UNITE 2020, Salient Inc.’s new global virtual trade show serving the MICE and leisure markets.

The show runs from 00:00 hours Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, to 23:59 EDT on Thursday, September 17, 2020. The exhibitor list includes Six Senses, Club Med, Fiesta Americana, Korean Air, Taj Hotels, Hyatt Hotels, Versace Dubai, Korean Tourism Organization and other unique hotels and destination management companies.

To date, more than 450 buyers have registered to connect with UNITE 2020’s exhibitors through an anticipated 1,700 20-minute one-on-one video chats. In addition, they’ll be able to “meet” and get technical help in the show’s Buyer Chat Room and the Air Canada-sponsored Buyer Lounge.

The show’s speaker line-up consists of LoAnn Halden and Clark Massad, vice-presidents of the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association (IGLTA); Claudine Triolo, Six Senses’ regional director of sales for Bhutan and Thailand; Pink Media‘s Matt Skallerud; and a panel moderated by TravTalk where MICE and luxury leisure professionals uncover of the future of India outbound and more.

Registered buyers are also eligible to win through virtual gamification one of many prizes donated by the show’s exhibitors. The Grand Prize, gifted by New World Safaris, is valued at $3,200.00 USD and includes a two-night stay at the One and Only Cape Town. It is followed by Club Med’s seven-night stay valued at $2,700 USD.
