The 262-key Virgin Hotels Nashville is now welcoming guests in Music City.

Located in the Tennessee capital’s historic Music Row neighbourhood, Virgin Hotel’s newest property features multiple dining and drinking options, a rooftop pool, a 24-hour fitness centre and more than 9,000 square feet of dedicated meeting and event space.

“Nashville has always held a special place in my heart, and I’m thrilled that Virgin Hotels has joined the iconic Music Row neighbourhood. Given Virgin’s history in the music industry, Nashville was a natural fit for the expansion of Virgin Hotels. More importantly, we were drawn to the spirit of Music City. We are so excited and honoured to open our doors here,” said Sir Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group.

Raul Leal, CEO of Virgin Hotels, explains that they have taken measures above and beyond Virgin Hotels’ standards to ensure guests will feel comfortable, safe and well taken care of while still maintaining the quintessential “Virgin experience” travellers know and love. “From the inception, our one-of-a-kind chambers were designed with contactless experience and privacy in mind. With our unique dining destinations, we’ve created charming spaces that locals will frequent, and visitors will return to time and time again,” he said.

The 14-storey new-build property was developed by The Buccini/Pollin Group with BLUR Workshop and Hastings Architecture. Interior design firm MARKZEFF was responsible for the interiors.

It offers four types of accommodation (Richard’s Flat King Suite, Grand Chamber King, Chamber King and Chamber Double Queen), ranging in size from 291 to 592 square feet. All rooms have two distinct spaces separated by a barn-style sliding door. The first space, The Dressing Room, combines the hallway and a bathroom/dressing area complete with full vanity, makeup desk, an extra-large shower with a bench stocked with Red Flower toiletries and closet space for two. The second space, The Lounge, has the brand’s ergonomically designed lounge bed, a red SMEG® mini-fridge, high definition TV, yoga mat, pedestal table and built-in window seating offering views of the Nashville skyline and Music Row.

Other guestroom amenities include:

  • ample outlets for smartphones, computers or other electronic devices;
  • custom lighting on sensors that automatically illuminate when guests move;
  • and the ability for guests to have a touch-free experience (mobile keys; lighting, thermostat and TV control; room service orders; check-out; etc.) via Virgin Hotels’ upgraded mobile app Lucy.

Virgin Hotels Nashville also offers three dining and drinking options: the brand’s flagship restaurant bar and lounge, Commons Club; Funny Library Coffee Shop; and The Pool Club.
