Hilton Bogota Conferias, Hilton’s 20th property in Colombia, is now open.
The 410-key property anchors the city’s Fairs & Conventions district, an area developed by the city’s Chamber of Commerce to promote industrial, commercial, social and cultural development in the region.
“Transformed into a global business hub, Bogotá has been a key market in our brand’s expansion plans due to the rise in tourism,” said Vera Manoukian, senior vice-president and global head, Hilton Hotels & Resorts. “With the debut of Hilton Bogota Conferias as the Fairs & Conventions district’s first full-service hotel, our goal is to introduce guests to the brand’s intuitive service and world-class amenities while providing them with a memorable travel experience.”
Places to meet
The hotel features more than 13,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a 5,815-square-foot main ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows that can accommodate up to 720 people, and seven breakout rooms totalling 13,200 square feet. It also has a 6,500-square-foot terrace—considered the largest in the city—with indoor and outdoor space and views of 10,341-foot Monserrate Hill.
Guests also have easy access to Agora Convention Center, a five-storey, 65,000-square-foot event building completed in late 2017.
Sleep, eat, play
The property’s guestrooms have floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the city and ample natural light. Amenities include work desks with adjustable lamps, 50-inch HD TVs, a pillow menu and free WiFi.
The hotel’s three dining venues all pay homage to Colombia’s culinary traditions and showcase locally-sourced ingredients. OKA Grill House and Four Eleven Bar feature an urban lounge design with an open kitchen taking centre stage. Bon Market and Bar offers a variety of grab-and-go items, including specialty sandwiches and salads. In addition, the Executive Lounge offers complimentary hot breakfast, evening refreshments and hors d’oeuvres.
To stay fit while on the road, the hotel offers guests an indoor, heating swimming pool and hydro-massage pool, fully-equipped fitness centre; steam bath; and treatment rooms for massage services.
It’s also within walking distance of the town’s main commercial area, home to La Candelaria colonial neighbourhood, Gold Museum and the Art Museum of the National University of Colombia.
