Hilton Okinawa Miyako Island Resort welcoming guests

Hilton Okinawa Miyako Island Resort, the first Hilton property on Miyako Island in Okinawa, Japan, is now open.

Situated in the Twuriba area, Hilton Okinawa Miyako Island Resort is a 15-minute drive from Miyako Airport which is a short direct flight from Tokyo Haneda or Osaka Kansai Airports, and a 25-minute drive from Shimojishima Airport. The year-round resort is adjacent to Miyako Sunset Beach.

The resort’s interior is decorated with exquisite artwork created by renowned artists that celebrate the essence of Miyako Island. The 329 well-appointed guestrooms incorporate design elements inspired by the Miyako Blue Sea and its surroundings. This includes 56 Executive Rooms and 11 Suite Rooms which offer exclusive access to the Executive Lounge where guests can enjoy evening cocktails and refreshments throughout the day.

The hotel also features four restaurants and bars. Azure is an all-day eatery serving international fare made with locally sourced ingredients. Isoletta, which features a gas-fired pizza oven and cosy trattoria setting, is the hotel’s signature restaurant. The lobby lounge, Saryo, offers light bites and refreshments, including house-made sweets paired with herbal tea. Yunai Rooftop Bar – yunai means night in the Miyako dialect – is perfect for sipping cocktails and watching the sunset.

Hilton Okinawa Miyako Island Resort offers an extensive array of amenities and facilities, including three outdoor pools (for families, for children, and for adults respectively), two indoor pools, a gym, and a spa.

It also has a 2,150+-square-foot ballroom, multiple meeting rooms, and a rooftop chapel that can accommodate various gatherings and celebrations.
