Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center has officially opened. The hotel is Loews’ second and largest hotel in north Texas city and the first-of-its-kind in the market.
A full-service meetings, events and resort destination, the 888-key property is centrally located between Dallas and Fort Worth, and is just 10 minutes from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport. It is situated between two major sport stadiums: Globe Life Field, home to the 2023 MLB World Series Champion Texas Rangers and AT&T Stadium, home to the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys. It is also connected to the new Arlington Convention Center, which is also operated by Loews Hotels & Co and the existing 300-room Live! By Loews Hotel. Collectively, the Loews complex in Arlington has 1,188 rooms and close to 300,000 square feet of meeting space.

“This opening marks a new day for the meetings and events business in North Texas with the addition of a new resort in the sports and entertainment capital of the world,” said Alex Tisch, president and CEO, Loews Hotels & Co. “We anticipate to fill the hotel with sports enthusiasts and entertainment fans during game days and concerts, and the rest of the time, with corporations, associations and incentives, who will enjoy some of the best meeting space in America.”
Highlights of Loews Arlington Hotel, include:
- 266,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor meeting and convention space that includes an expansive Event Lawn and the largest (51,000 square feet) hotel ballroom in North Texas, and can accommodate groups of up to 5,000 guests.
- Five restaurants and lounges, including: Farena, a three-meal Italian restaurant with two wood-fired stone pizza ovens and a Pasta Lab with fresh pasta made in-house daily; Veranda, an al fresco extension of Farena; Tomar El Sol, a poolside venue; Railbird, an artisanal market and coffee shop; a lobby bar and lounge; and opening in summer 2024, Soy Cowboy, a pan-Asian fusion concept by Berg Hospitality.
- A range of resort-style amenities, including a full-service spa and salon, beach club with two pools, cabanas, fire pits, a water slide and a manmade sandy beach.
Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center is part of phase two of the development of Arlington’s Entertainment District.
