Mandarin Oriental Makati, Manila, is expected to open in late 2026, marking the brand’s return to the capital of the Philippines.

Developed in partnership with Ayala Land, one of the Philippines’ leading property developers, the hotel is located above Ayala Triangle Gardens, a two-hectare park within Makati, Metro Manila’s cosmopolitan financial and lifestyle district.

Mandarin Oriental Makati will open with:

• 275 guestrooms and suites, all featuring natural materials, warm timber tones, woven detailing and artisan finishes from Filipino craftsmen as well as floor-to-ceiling windows
• Club accommodations with access to the Mandarin Oriental Club Lounge alongside 24-hour dedicated butler service
• five dining concepts spanning contemporary Cantonese, Filipino and international cuisines
• an 8,600+ square feet spa and wellness floor anchored by a 25-meter outdoor swimming pool and featuring treatments drawing on ancient Filipino healing traditions
• a variety of meeting and event spaces, including the Grand Hall, a nearly 8,000-square-foot ballroom with a 26+-foot ceiling height and capacity for up to 1,000 guests

From 1976 to 2014, the original Mandarin Oriental Manila served as one of the capital’s most recognized gathering places, welcoming influential figures from across business, diplomacy, society and culture.
