Napa Valley is now home to the first-ever Four Seasons property set within a working winery.

The all-new Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley opened on November 1, 2021, in the town of Calistoga, California.  The Elusa Winery is the heart of the 85-key property, which also features a destination restaurant, two pools, a spa, and a collection of creative event and meeting spaces.

“We could not be more excited to welcome guests to Four Seasons Napa Valley,” said general manager Mehdi Eftekari, who arrived from Manhattan three years ago to oversee the creation of the property. “It’s been a long time coming, giving us the luxury of time to build a team of truly talented people and put together thoughtful programming that marries the best of the Napa lifestyle with Four Seasons excellence.”

Highlights of the property are:

  • Elusa Winery and Vineyard – The resort’s fully immersive wine country experience was created in partnership with Thomas Rivers Brown, a Calistoga resident who has received national acclaim since beginning his winemaking career 25 years ago. The winery and its 4.7-acre organic vineyard give guests the opportunity to explore the winemaking process from harvest and sorting to blending and aging. Experiences include hands-on demonstrations, meetings with winemakers, and wine tastings that include a variety of wines from the Napa region.
  • TRUSS Restaurant – Helmed by Chef Erik Anderson, Truss Restaurant + Bar encompasses two complementary experiences: Truss Living Room, which offers snacks and small plates all day, and the soon-to-open main restaurant, which will offer an exceptional a la carte lunch and dinner menu. Truss also offers private dining in the Cork Room, and a demonstration kitchen for private and group classes in mixology, wine pairings or gaucho-style cooking on its Argentinian wood-burning grill.
  • Spa Talisa at Four Seasons Resort Napa Valley – Featuring several outdoor decks, the spa offers signature treatments such as Brave Spirit Body Ritual – a 100-minute journey of deep cleansing, resurfacing and energization using plant-based products – in indoor and outdoor spaces.
  • Memorable event spaces – The resort can accommodate parties of up to 174 guests in a variety of flexible indoor-outdoor spaces such as its wide terraces overlooking the on-property lake and the vineyard barn. Several fully tech-equipped rooms ranging from the Cork Room suite to the larger Silverado and Rosedale rooms are also available.

“Four Seasons Resort Napa Valley lends itself particularly to corporate retreats that combine productivity with team building and relaxation in a setting that is both inspiring and rewarding after more than a year of virtual meetings,” said Kelly Nelson, the resort’s director of sales and marketing.
