New Sandals resort opens in Eastern Caribbean

Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines opened last week, marking the brand’s debut in the Eastern Caribbean destination.

The adults-only property is the 18th Sandals-branded all-inclusive resort. It offers 301 rooms and suites across 50 acres on the island of Saint Vincent.

Highlights of Sandals Saint Vincent include:

  • a 300-foot linear pool that connects the flora-framed lobby terrace to the horizon;
  • Vincy Overwater Two-Story Villas, which feature expansive spaces spanning two stories above the sea;
  • Beachfront Villas located just steps from the sand;
  • elevated amenities in some suites such as a dedicated media room, a private pool, and/or a private fitness room with exercise bikes, yoga mats and a library of fitness classes;
  • Red Lane® Spa, which offers a range of treatments include some that harness the natural minerals in volcanic sand;
  • and 11 culinary concepts and five bars showcasing the island’s food and beverage bounty, including Buccan, the region’s first-ever solid fuel restaurant, Scrimshaw (seafood) and Parisol, an open-air beach club and kitchen.

On-site activities at Sandals Saint Vincent include guided kayak experiences to Buccament Bat  Caves, bikes for exploring the resort’s trails and gardens, interactive classes and tastings highlighting the region’s agricultural heritage, from aloe vera to local fruit like mango and breadfruit, rum sensory experiences, and movies under the stars.
