A consortium of hotel ownership and management groups representing more than 50 properties and resorts in the Dominican Republic’s popular Punta Cana region have joined together to reassure travellers that their properties are all laser-focused on guests’ safety and security throughout their stay.

The consortium issued a statement in November outlining the policies, safety guidelines and security measures in effect across all their properties.

The “Punta Cana Promise” is an eight-point pledge that assures the highest level of safety, security and service are met across all participating properties. Each hotel will display the Punta Cana Promise seal as a demonstration of its commitment to the eight points and a visual assurance to all travellers.

The 13 hotel ownership and management groups that form the consortium are RIU Hotel & Resorts, Bahai Principe Hotels & Resorts, AMResorts, Melia Hotels & Resorts, Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts, Iberostar Hotels & Resorts, Majestic  Resorts, Princess Hotels & Resorts, Ocean by H10 Hotels, Catalonia Hotels & Resorts, Excellence Resorts, Grandsirenis Hotels & Resorts, and whala!hotels. All full list of participating properties is available at https://www.puntacanapromise.com/hotels.html.
