Hilton grows Curio Collection’s Italy portfolio

Hilton today announced three signings in Italy, all under the Curio Collection by Hilton brand. The new properties are located in Genova (Genoa), Sorrento and Milan in Northwest Italy.

Grand Hotel Savoia Genova, Curio Collection by Hilton

The 117-room Grand Hotel Savoia Genova, Curio Collection by Hilton (guestroom pictured top of post) is Hilton’s first property in Genova, which is the capital of the Liguria region and Italy’s sixth largest city. Scheduled to debut in December 2025, it will for the first of the three new Curio Collection properties to open.

Steeped in history, the Grand Hotel Savoia has embodied the splendor of the Belle Époque since 1897. Built to host royal families embarking on transatlantic voyages, it has long welcomed guests from the world of Italian and international politics and culture.

The hotel’s amenities include an on-site restaurant, lobby bar, rooftop lounge, sizeable meeting space, a rooftop ballroom, and wellness facilities including a spa and a gym.

Grand Hotel Savoia is centrally located in the city, across from the Piazza Principe train station, which connects travelers to Milan (90 minutes) and provides access to various towns along the Ligurian coastline.

Majestic Palace Sorrento, Curio Collection by Hilton

Set to be home to Michelin-starred Don Geppi and Dry Martini rooftop bar, Majestic Palace Sorrento, Curio Collection by Hilton, is expected to open in spring 2027, following the renovation of the hotel.

The property is situated in an exclusive residential area of Sant’Agnello, a small town adjacent to Sorrento. This location provides guests with easy access to other key Italian cities such as Naples, Pompeii, Vesuvius, Amalfi Coast, Positano and Capri.

Majestic Palace Sorrento will open under the Curio Collection banner with 75 rooms featuring private balconies overlooking the hotel’s private swimming pool or its extensive garden, which is filled with centuries-old orange, lemon, and olive trees.

Leisure amenities include a swimming pool, gym and indoor wellness area with a sauna, hammam and treatment rooms.

Cadorna Hotel Milan, Curio Collection by Hilton

Scheduled to begin welcoming guests in January 2028, Cadorna Hotel Milan, Curio Collection, offers more than 120 guestrooms, an on-site restaurant, a bar, and a gym.

Dating back to the early 20th century, the property is an iconic detached masonry building located in the heart of Milan on the Piazzale Luigi Cadorna. It is within walking distance of Milan’s major tourist attractions, with the Duomo di Milano, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and Palazzo Reale di Milano all under one kilometer away.

Milan is the regional capital of Lombardy and is Italy’s financial and fashion capital.
