Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE) is launching a two-day conference and expo dedicated to experiential marketing and live events.
The inaugural edition of “Exceptional Experiences” will take place at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona, December 2-3, 2020. It will run alongside Reed’s major business events trade show, IBTM World, which takes place from December 1-3, 2020 at the same venue.
According to RTE, the “experience economy” is transforming brand marketing. Exceptional Experiences’ mandate is to bring together the global creative live events community with marketers and event planners, giving them an opportunity for one-on-one meetings and to share best practices and learnings.
Exceptional Experiences, says Reed, will combine cutting-edge knowledge on experiential trends, execution, ROI and sustainability from speakers who will deliver insights and information on marketing strategies, brand activation case studies, and new products, thinking, technology and services.
“With current predictions estimating that global expenditure on the ‘experience economy’ will hit £8.2 trillion [$10 trillion+ USD] by 2028*, marketers and event planners need to ensure they’re delivering live events and experiences that resonate on a personal and emotional level with potential and existing customers,” said Natalie Whittaker, event manager, Exceptional Experiences.
