The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes has unveiled its extensive multi-million-dollar transformation.
The renovation included revamps of the hotel’s guestrooms and suites, seven restaurants, common areas, Club Lounge, pool and private poolside cabanas. Interior details were updated with the highest quality fixtures, luxury textiles and furnishings, all inspired by the natural beauty of Grande Lakes’ lush grounds and 11 surrounding lakes.
Highlights of the transformation include:
- New guestrooms and suites featuring soft colours, plush textiles and distinctive architectural elements incorporating nautical details combine elegant lines and modern details for a cosmopolitan ambiance.
- Twelve brand new, custom-designed cabanas with comfortable, contemporary upholstery, private butler, wireless Internet, HDTV, a refrigerator and a security safe.
- New Solaire pool
- A fully renovated club lounge of the 14th floor offering complimentary culinary, cocktail and concierge services.
The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes is part of the 500-acre Grande Lakes Orlando estate. It has 582 luxury guestrooms and suites; 11 dining establishments; a 40,000-square-foot spa with a salon and 24-hour state-of-the-art fitness centre.
It is joined on the estate by a 1,000-room JW Marriott hotel. Guests at both hotels can use all the facilities and services at Grande Lakes Orlando, including an 18-hole Greg Norman-designed championship golf course and three pools including the winding lazy river at JW Marriott.
The resort’s fifteen dining outlets include a new steak and seafood restaurant, Knife & Spoon, led by award-winning chef John Tesar, southern-inspired cuisine at Highball & Harvest, and Mediterranean-Italian fare at PRIMO, which is led by multiple James Beard award-winning chef Melissa Kelly, a leader in the city’s farm-to-fork movement. The resort sources ingredients from its on-site apiaries and 18,000-square-foot Whisper Creek Farm.
On-property activities include Grande Lakes Sports Experiences offering kayaking, eco-tours on Shingle Creek, falconry, mountain biking and fishing school.
Conference and meeting planners can choose from a selection of meeting space options located across 150,000 square feet that connects the two properties plus more than 100,000 square feet of outdoor space.
