Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique is now accepting reservations for stays beginning May 1, 2025.
The opening of the luxury oceanfront resort on Costa Rica’s west coast marks the debut of the Waldorf Astoria brand in the country.
Located on the peninsula of Cacique in Guancaste Province, the resort cascades down a 300-foot cliffside, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Its design, which was led by Mexico-based design firm Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos, fuses modern architecture and amenities with the natural environment.

Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique features 148 guestrooms and suites, all with floor-to-ceiling windows, spacious terraces, and organic design. Its drink and dining venues include a signature restaurant focused on the flavors of the Pacific, and a brand signature Peacock Alley Bar.
The resort also offers a curated wellness program that includes mindfulness practices, fitness routines, holistic therapies, and native rituals. The signature Waldorf Astoria Spa features treatment rooms, a hair salon, sauna, steam bath, whirlpool and calming lounges. Other wellness amenities include multi-level pools, a state-of-the-art gym complete with a movement studio and outdoor yoga.
In addition, the property more than 10,000 square feet of versatile, premium event space (indoor and outdoor), all equipped with advanced audiovisual equipment.

The resort is one of Hilton’s (NYSE: HLT) most anticipated openings in the Caribbean and Latin America (CALA), and is slated to join Hilton’s portfolio of more than 280 hotels across the region this spring.
