Hilton today announced the signing of Waldorf Astoria Scarlet Bay following a management agreement with Royal Group Holding. Located on the Peloponnese, will be the luxury brand’s first property in Greece.

Expected to open in 2029, Waldorf Astoria Scarlet Bay will offer:

• 121 large guestrooms and suites, all with sea views
• 13 branded residence villas
• a Waldorf Astoria spa
• indoor and outdoor pools, with the main pool delivering views of the sea and the coastline towards the island of Spetses
• tennis court
• fitness center
• multiple bars and restaurants, including a signature restaurant, beach club restaurant, lobby lounge, coffee shop, and legendary Peacock Alley (bar)

Attached to the mainland by Isthmus of Corinth, the Peloponnese is a historically rich peninsula in southern Greece known for its mountains, beaches, and cuisine. It is home to the Ancient Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games and where the Olympic torch is still lit today. Other cultural and historical sites include:
