Kerzner International Holdings Limited, an independent developer and operator of hospitality and residential properties, is expanding its global presence with the signing of SIRO Roppongi, Tokyo.

The first SIRO in the Asia Pacific region, the Tokyo property will join the recently opened SIRO One Za’abeel in Dubai and SIRO Boka Place, which is set to open in Montenegro in May 2025.

A new hospitality brand, each SIRO (pronounced “sigh-row”) hotel features accommodations designed specifically to support optimal sleep and mitigate jetlag, a cutting-edge fitness offering, a suite of specialized treatments to aid recovery, customizable nutrition-led dining, and a team of in-house specialists to coach guests and curate a one-stop wellbeing destination/experience for travelers.

Expected to open in 2029, SIRO Roppongi, Tokyo will be located in the upscale Roppongi entertainment district in Minato-ku, a ward in Central Tokyo, giving guests easy access to world renowned art galleries, museums and Michelin-starred restaurants. It will offer 100 guestrooms and a state-of-the-art Fitness Lab and Recovery Lab.

“Japan is of significant strategic importance for Kerzner International and our brands, and we are firmly committed to our growth and presence within the country,” said Philippe Zuber, CEO, Kerzner International. “We are proud to be working together with Takenaka Corporation expanding into Tokyo with our new SIRO hotel. With the country’s rich, cultural heritage, thriving economy, and strong global presence, we see incredible potential for future development across the country. Our goal is to build long-lasting connections with the Japanese market and further expand our presence, offering unparalleled hospitality and wellness experiences.”

Mattheos Georgiou, senior vice-president, SIRO and Rare Finds, said: “SIRO is a trailblazer in the industry. We are the first hospitality brand to offer a truly holistic approach to sleep, fitness, recovery, nutrition and mindfulness. Our goal is to deliver a pioneering hotel experience designed for active lifestyles, allowing our guests to maintain peak performance when they travel for leisure or business. In February 2024, we welcomed our first guests to SIRO One Za’abeel in Dubai. The response from them has been phenomenal and is a springboard from which we will continue to grow and evolve the brand.”
