Rosewood Mandarina, a 134-key luxury property, has opened on Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit.

Nearly a decade in the making, the all-suite sanctuary offers an immersive guest experience across three distinct ecosystems – mountaintop with sweeping ocean views, beachfront, and agrarian flatlands, which are the resort’s heart. Owned by developer RLH Properties, it is Rosewood’s fourth property in Mexico.

Each of the ultra-luxurious accommodations, including three specialty suites and two large standalone villas, offers a private plunge pool, expansive terraces, and bespoke design elements crafted in collaboration with local artisans. the Canalan Beachfront Villa and the Cora Four-Bedroom Mountaintop Villas feature infinity pools.

Amenities at Rosewood Mandarina include:

• a range of indoor and outdoor event venues, including a beach pavilion that can accommodate up to 220 people;
• multiple dining venues that celebrate the region’s cuisine and ingredients, including La Cocina (Mexican), Buena Onda (Spanish), and Toppu, an elegant Japanese fine-dining restaurant located at the top of the mountain;
• cliffside bar, Barra Peñasco, serving craft cocktails;
• four oceanfront pools,
• a state-of-the-art fitness center;
• and a signature Asaya Spa.

The resort also offers a range of bespoke experiences designed to introduce guests to the landscapes, culture, and traditions of Riviera Nayarit. On-property adventures include a ziplining journey and ropes course through the jungle canopy. Rosewood Mandarina also has exclusive access to the Mandarina Polo & Equestrian Club, where guests can watch a match, take private lessons, or try their hand at the sport. Guided horseback excursions journey from rainforest trails to the ocean’s edge. The club is also planning a therapeutic equine program.

In addition, resort guests have access to The Mandarina Golf Club, a signature golf course by Greg Norman. This 9-hole short course has an additional “challenge” hole for an exciting conclusion to a game.
