Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris has completed a major three-year renovation project that saw its 243 rooms and suites completely transformed for the first time since its reopening in 1999.

Working in collaboration with interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon, the five-star hotel’s accommodations – among the largest in the city – have been reimagined as a collection of private residences meant to give guests the feeling of living in Paris.

The new design blends classic Louis XVI-style furniture and contemporary artworks. The color palette is soft and harmonious, and natural light is enhanced throughout the property, with new French windows framing views of Paris, including the Eiffel Tower. The rooms offer personal workspaces, curated libraries, and private dining rooms. And their balconies have been transformed into lush gardens.

The rooms have also been updated with intuitive technologies, including home automation systems, customizable mood lighting, and advanced audiovisual technology.

Three suites embody the hotel’s new vision of residential living.

Located on the top floor, George V’s iconic Penthouse Suite has been entirely redesigned to let in more natural light and create an open, fluid interior.

The Parisian Eiffel Suite (shown top of post) is the property’s new signature suite. Designed as a truly family apartment, it is comprised of a master suite complemented by two connected bedrooms – a rare configuration in Paris. Alongside sweeping views of the Eiffel Tower, it features two landscaped terraces furnished with black wrought-iron pieces by Hervé Baume and reception areas that are centered around a Calacutta Oro marble fireplace.

Finally, the Parisian Suite delivers a more discreet aesthetic. Eschewing overt grandeur, it is now a soft, light-filled residential sanctuary.

A longtime incentive travel favorite, Four Seasons Hotel George V is also home to more than 13,300 square feet of event space, a five-star spa, and three Michelin-starred restaurants — the three-star Le Cinq (modern French cuisine), the two-star L’Orangerie (plant- and fish-based cuisine), and Le George, a one-star restaurant serving on-trend Italian Mediterranean dishes.
