Donoma Las Terrenas Beach Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection has opened on the Samaná Peninsula in the northeastern region of the Dominican Republic.

Envisioned by owners Edward González and Georgette Almanzar and brought to life by the architecture firm GVA under the direction of architect Carlos Aguilar, the resort features 94 accommodations, including spacious and uniquely designed private villas, each offering a connection between indoor and outdoor living. The interior design – a simple, luxurious combination of neutral tones, natural materials, and handcrafted local artworks – was conceived  by Liza Ortega of Ortega Arquitectos.

Donoma Las Terrenas Beach Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection also features:

• SolMarella, an all-day dining venue serving a contemporary menu that blends local ingredients with international favorites as well as an elevated steakhouse experience on its upper level in the evening
• Splash, a playful eatery with a casual menu of focaccias, pizzas, bowls, and kid-friendly dishes and Sunset, which serves a coastal menu inspired by Mediterranean living
• Arena Sense Spa, which has four treatment suites, men’s and women’s lounges, and offers healing rituals incorporating indigenous ingredients such as coconut, cacao, and sea salt
