Meliá Hotels International has signed a hotel on Spain’s Costa del Sol in the town of Estepona, Málaga, which will operate under The Meliá Collection brand.
Bahía Estepona member of Meliá Collection, will join the company’s luxury offerings on the Andalusian coast by mid-2026, following a renovation. The hotel will feature 134 rooms and suites, designed to provide guests with an exceptional seaside experience.
Overlooking El Padrón Beach, the outdoor areas of Bahía Estepona member of Meliá Collection, will include a beautiful swimming pool and serene gardens. Guests can also focus on their well-being with access to a fully equipped fitness center and a spa offering the finest treatments. The hotel will provide a diverse gastronomic experience with three restaurants, an outdoor pool bar, and a lobby bar.
Located in one of the destination’s most charming towns, Bahía Estepona will offer the perfect place to immerse oneself in the essence of Andalusia. True to The Meliá Collection brand, the hotel will feature a carefully curated cultural program, connecting guests to the local culture. In addition, the hotel is just a 20-minute drive from Puerto Banus, half an hour from Marbella’s historic center, and within easy reach of Mijas and Málaga city.

With the addition of Bahía Estepona, Meliá Hotels International now has 30 hotels open or in the process of opening in Andalusia, including two other projects under The Meliá Collection brand in Cádiz and Ronda. This year the company’s luxury portfolio will be enhanced with the opening of a ME by Meliá branded hotel in Málaga’s city center as well as the repositioning of one of its hotels in Marbella, which will soon become ME Marbella.
