Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino opened on August 15th, marking the Hong Kong-based hotel group’s debut in Greece.

The resort was developed in collaboration with TEMES, a developer renowned for its commitment to sustainability. Tombazis & Associates Architects and K Studio combined creativity and craftsmanship to ensure every aspect of the resort maximized its extraordinary location and views.

Nestled in the hillside of Navarino Bay on the southwest coast of the Peloponnese, Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino features a bioclimatic design utilizing locally-sourced materials and green living concepts.

Enveloped by green hills filled with olive trees, the resort has 99 suites and villas, all with exceptional views, a terrace or balcony, and decor that blends contemporary pieces with handcrafted elements. Villas also feature private pools.

The resort offers five distinct restaurant and bar concepts overseen by Chef Bertrand Valegeas. Dining options include Oliviera Restaurant, which serves an eclectic selection of redefined and authentic Greek cuisine, and Tahir Restaurant, which is open for dinner and focuses on the healthy mezze dishes of Levantine cuisine.

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino offers a range of treatments that combine the Group’s oriental traditions with the abundant Greek flora surrounding the resort. Other wellness amenities include a 25-meter swimming pool that traverses from indoor to outdoor, a Hammam, a cold bath, a herbal sauna, and a fitness center. In addition, the resort’s beach club offers a variety of water activities, including paddleboarding and water skiing. The resort is also surrounded by an 18-hole golf course.

Cultural experiences available at the resort run from olive oil tastings and cooking classes to visits to many local historical sites. Moreover, Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino is located next to the recently opened Navarino Agora, a vibrant marketplace with curated retail, dining venues, artisanal street food, an open-air cinema, and an event program celebrating the local culture and traditions.
