JW Marriott St. Maarten Beach Resort & Spa opened today on Dawn Beach, marking the luxury brand’s debut on the Dutch side of the Caribbean island of St. Maarten.

The resort has 200 guestrooms and suites. Designed by Cauhaus Design, all accommodations feature natural wood finishes, handcrafted tile accents, cove lighting, best-in-class entertainment systems, and artworks and artifacts that pay home to the island’s rich history and tradition of craftsmanship.

JW Marriott St. Maarten Beach Resort & Spa also features four elevated dining venues:

• Liguria draws inspiration from the coastal Mediterranean with a menu that emphasizes regional flavors and produce from the resort’s JW Garden;
• Carambola offers laid-back “flip-flop fine dining” for breakfast, lunch and dinner;
• The Lobby Bar serves creative cocktails such as the Gin-Z, a combination of gin, Aperol and Prosecco;
• and Breeze is the resort’s poolside eatery/bar.

Other amenities include a 16-treatment room spa (Hibiscus Spa), a fully-quipped fitness center, and the island’s largest infinity pool.

In addition, JW Marriott St. Maarten Beach Resort & Spa has event venues spread across 30,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. It is home to 10,000 square feet of flexible indoor function and event space, including the Soualiga Ballroom and four function venues. Outdoor spaces include the lawn, JW Garden, the pool deck and Dawn Beach.

The resort is a 30-minute drive from Princess Juliana International Airport.
