Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres opened on February 1st, expanding the brand’s presence in Mexico.

Located on a secluded strip of white sand beach on the Caribbean Sea, the 507-room, adults-only resort is the latest Inclusive Collection, part of World of Hyatt resort to open in the country. Its amenities include more than 9,000 square feet of meeting space, easily configured into small breakout rooms, as well as 11 outdoor venue options.

Accommodations at the resort feature neutral tones and natural materials, including wood, stone and handcrafted organic decorative furnishings from local artists. All guests receive the brand’s Unlimited Luxury® services, including 24-hour room service, daily refreshed in-room mini bar, daytime and nighttime entertainment, and pool and beach wait service.

Preferred Blub accommodations provide an extra level of luxury with elevated room categories, including swim-outs and upgraded oceanfront suites, all featuring an oversized soaking tub on the terrace, upgraded mini bar and bath amenities, and concierge services. Preferred Club guests at Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres also have exclusive access to the Preferred Club Lounge, an oceanfront Beach Bar, and an infinity pool.

Food and beverage at the resort is covered by nine dining venues and eight bars and lounges. Options range from El Patio, which offers a taste of authentic Mexican cuisine, to traditional Japanese Tatami rooms serving handmade sushi and Pan-Asian cuisine and Portofino, an Italian restaurant with one of the largest wine selections in the destination.

Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres also features four large swimming pools, including two oceanfront infinity pools; the 29,000-square-foot Secrets Spa; and a state-of-the-art fitness facility. The spa, fitness center, and theater will open in three phases and be fully operational by June 2024.

For guests wishing to explore more of the area, Isla Mujeres and Isla Contoy National Park are both a short ferry ride away. The resort is also close to Playa Mujeres Golf Course, a Greg Norman signature 18-hole course, and the Puerto Cancun Shopping Centre.
