SITE has announced a radical new education program for its upcoming global conference, running January 24-27, 2020 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The association reports that the conference’s education and learning experiences will follow an innovative “festival” format and be delivered over no fewer than six distinct stages or areas at the light-filled, ultra-contemporary JW Marriott Parq, Vancouver, the host property for the event.

Main stage sessions include New York Times best-selling author, Ben Nemtin, on how to achieve the unthinkable while on the industry stage, and riveting, peer-to-peer talks on how to excel as an incentive travel professional are available. Dialogue Dens and Learning Labs foster one-on-one and small group immersive learning around important personal and professional topics while in the Life Hacks area you can learn how to travel for eight weeks in Europe with a roll-on.

Other sessions include:

  • Marine Sophie Debatte, Head of Events Solutions, BI Worldwide, ABAC, on The Art & Science of Incentive Travel
  • Bruce Smith, Managing Director, Spectra, on Data Privacy, A Global Concern-How to Keep Your Incentive Customers Protected
  • Maura Dominquez-Zhang, Managing Partner, SYNEGY-CONNECT, on Sustainability, the New Luxury
  • Special Sessions include Networking 201, The Certified Incentive Specialist (CIS) and Certified Incentive Travel Professional (CITP)

“I’m immensely proud of the depth and breadth of the educational program that we’ve created for SITE Global Conference in Vancouver. It’s as diverse and exciting as the city itself and offers true value, both personally and professionally, for anyone involved in the incentive travel industry”, said Lynne Coyne, CMP, CITP, Manager, Event Services, Intuitive Conferences & Events and Co-Chair, SITE Global Conference 2020.

“SITE live events pivot around three pillars—Connect, Learn, Discover—but learning is at the very center of what we do and ensures our events are forward-looking, energy-filled and dynamic,” said Didier Scaillet, CIS CITP, CEO of SITE. “Our events are suitable for all learning styles and designed to make learning immersive, holistic and, ultimately, transformative. For Global Conference we add a fourth pillar – SHAPE. Through the Manifesto series, our annual crowd-sourced investigation into the nature, purpose and direction of incentive travel, we invite our delegates to be protagonists in shaping the future of our industry. Come to British Columbia in January and be part of The Vancouver Manifesto.”
