Six Senses has announced plans for a second property in Greece.

Set to open in 2026, the LEED-certified Six Senses Porto Heli will offer around 60 rooms and suites, most with private plunge pools and private terraces or gardens, along with a three-bedroom retreat villa. In addition, there will be 10 branded residential villas for sale, offering five to eight bedrooms.

The property will be located in Ermioni on Greece’s Peloponnese Riviera, giving guests views of the islands of Spetses and Hydra. The Peloponnese is home to major archaeological sites, including Olympia, Epidaurus, and Mycenae. Just 200 kilometers from Athens, Porto Heli has evolved from a sleepy fishing village into a destination for glamor and outdoor adventure.

Woven into the topography of the land, Six Senses Porto Heli will rise from the shore to maximize the sea views, from the large infinity pool and spa on the lower level to the rooms split across two levels and up to the lobby and reception. The residential villas flank the hotel and back onto a natural park. This cascade effect, conceived by Rome-based firm Delogu Architecture and Arch Group from Athens, reflects the relationship with nature, with buildings bridging the forest and the sea. Similarly, indoor spaces will lead seamlessly to the outdoors.

Design elements will be contemporary and natural, ranging from the stone walls to limestone flooring, wooden structures, and bronze finishes. The local surroundings also inspire the color palette and interior design by MuzaLab London.

Along with eight treatment rooms, thermal wet areas and heat experiences, and an indoor swimming pool with ocean views, the 17,000+ square-foot Six Senses Spa will house a Biohacking Lounge, boutique and concept store, outdoor fitness and wellness circuit, and spa herbal gardens.

The all-day main restaurant will sit directly on the beach, joined by a sunset bar, traditional Greek Kafeneio, a variety of private outdoor event spaces, and an organic vegetable garden. Other facilities at Six Senses Porto Heli will include an Alchemy Bar, Earth Lab, outdoor pool and sports facilities, sound healing dome, and Grow With Six Senses play area and activities for children. There will also be a boat jetty and beach club hosting a range of water sports, beach dining, and juice and coffee bars.

Commenting on the brand’s second Greek property to be announced in recent months, Six Senses CEO Neil Jacobs said: “Six Senses Porto Heli will create a haven of wellness and emotional hospitality along the captivating shores of Ermioni, with panoramic vistas of Spetses and Hydra. We’re hoping to add an exciting new chapter to the Peloponnesian heritage and legacy. As we embark on this journey, we are committed to nurturing the essence of the region while introducing new ideas in holistic rejuvenation.”

Six Senses has partnered with a joint venture between London-based real asset merchant bank CBE Capital, Golden Land Goutos, New York-based Taconic Capital Advisors, and London-based Cedar Capital Partners.
