Tivoli Hotels & Resorts arrives in Tenerife

Tivoli La Caleta Tenerife Resort opened today, marking the arrival of Minor Hotels’ Tivoli brand in Spain.

Located between the mountains and the Atlantic ocean on Tenerife’s southern Costa Adeje, the five-star resort has direct access to the 12-kilometer promenade connecting the village of La Caleta to the town of Los Cristianos.

Tivoli La Caleta offers 284 rooms including 20 suites. Decorated with woods and natural fibers and featuring a color palette that goes from beige and brown to dark orange, interiors are accented with designer furniture, local art, and high-tech comforts.

The property’s outside spaces and amenities include more than 190,000 square feet of subtropical garden and three newly refurbished pools, all heated, the largest with salt water and one of which is adults-only.

Dining and drink options at the resort have been curated by Olivier da Costa, the well-known Portuguese chefpreneur, who currently has 26 restaurants open around the world in destinations like São Paulo, Lisbon, Rome and Bangkok. Tivoli La Caleta’s restaurants and bars are:

  • Seen Beach Club, which offers a fusion menu featuring the best fish in the Canary Islands alongside a menu of exotic, creative cocktails
  • Yakuza, , which specializes in sushi and East meets West dishes
  • Guilty, a pool area eatery serving an informal, flavorful menu
  • Gusto, which serves breakfast daily and a buffet with the world’s favorite foods at night
  • Alma Cocktail Bar, which offers the best Spanish wines and cocktails in outdoor and indoor spaces
  • Clásico Sport Bar, a space guests can view games while enjoying a menu of drinks and bites
  • Suite & Tea, a cosy tea room serving afternoon tea
  • Guilty, a pool bar offering a menu of milkshakes, fruit smoothies, light snacks and icy cocktails

Tivoli La Caleta also offers nearly 10,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event spaces with ocean views. In addition, next March it will welcome a 12,000+-square-foot Anantara Spa with 10 treatment rooms, a vitality indoor pool, sauna, steam bath and an ice igloo. Tivoli Shape offers additional wellness/fitness facilities including a gym with Technogym equipment and professional World Padel Tour courts.

Tivoli Hotels & Resorts currently operates 17 properties in Portugal, Brazil, Qatar, China and The Netherlands.
