“Copa Airlines is proud to be the leading Latin American carrier providing daily flights, as we continue to fulfill our commitment to expanding flight options and enhancing travel experiences for our passengers,” says Laura Marin, sales manager, Copa Airlines in Canada. “The daily service will allow our passengers to take advantage of the best connections in Latin America and the Caribbean. When visiting Panama, passengers can enjoy two amazing destinations without incurring any additional airfare, through our Stopover Program in Panama.”
“ADM Aéroports de Montréal is delighted with the expanded bilateral agreement with Panama, which will enable our partner Copa Airlines to enhance its service to and from YUL Montréal-Trudeau International Airport,” said Yves Beauchamp, president and CEO of ADM Aéroports de Montréal.
“Copa expanding to daily service on its Toronto-Panama route will add 50 percent more seats over the course of the year,” said Khalil Lamrabet, chief commercial officer, Greater Toronto Airports Authority. “Providing increased choice and connectivity across Copa’s network makes perfect sense when more than 70 percent of passengers are connecting onwards, many of whom are traveling to destinations that do not have direct service from Canada, such as Uruguay and Bolivia.”
Copa Airlines has been recognized as the most punctual airline in Latin America by OAG. Most recently, it was recognized for the second time as the Favorite Airline in South/Central America at the 2023 Trazee Travel Awards. It was also named one of the Top 15 International Airlines in the world and the the only one from the Americas region by Condé Nast Traveler 2023 Readers’ Choice Awards.
