Omni PGA Frisco Resort is now open in Frisco, Texas.
One of Omni Hotels & Resorts‘ most anticipated debuts, the property occupies 660 acres in the city, which is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan region and just 40 kilometers from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
The 500-key property is set against the backdrop of Fields Ranch, home of two new championship courses designed by acclaimed architects Gil Hanse (Fields Ranch East) and Beau Welling (Fields Ranch West) and a variety of golf experiences, including:
- The Swing, a lighted 10-hole short course;
- The Dance Floor, a two-acre putting course;
- The Lounge by Topgolf dining and simulation experience;
- state-of-the-art PGA Coaching Center;
- and Ice House restaurant with hitting bays overlooking the Toptracer driving range.
In addition to its 500 rooms and suites, Omni PGA Frisco Resort offers 19 diverse restaurant and bar concepts; a world-class Mokara Spa; four pools, retail and entertainment venues; and nearly 130,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space.
The property also has 10 exclusive four-bedroom ranch houses. Each of these houses offers fully customizable VIP services for groups seeking bespoke offerings away from the buzz of the main resort.
The resort’s interiors were created by award-winning design studio Jeffrey Beers. Design details were inspired by Texas’s heritage and the rich history of golf . For example, guestrooms feature traditional tartan prints and a emerald green, tufted headboards. However, the decor at upscale dining venue Trick Rider pays homage to the state’s rodeo culture with elements such as a larger-than-life hand-cut crystal horse chandelier and a horseshoe-shaped bar.
“This first-of-its-kind resort marks an exciting milestone for Omni Hotels & Resorts,” said Jeff Smith, vice-president and managing director, Omni PGA Frisco Resort. “It’s an ambitious concept where we get to showcase the best of Texas while casting a spotlight on Frisco as a unique destination experience for visitors and locals alike.”
