The Peninsula Istanbul is now accepting reservations in advance of its opening on February 14, 2023.
The waterfront property encompasses four buildings, three of which are protected historical landmarks dating to the early 1900s, each carefully renovated. Located within Galataport, a new waterfront revitalization project featuring museums, restaurants, and boutiques in the harbour district of Karaköy, it is in walking distance to Galata Tower, Galata Bridge, The Hagia Sophia Mosque, The Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace.

The Peninsula Istanbul will have 177 rooms, which range in size from 420 square feet to generous suites. All rooms will be decorated with bespoke furnishings, original art, modern Turkish design elements like wood-and-mother-of-pearl inlya, kilim-style carpets, and bathrooms clad in Marmara marble. Many of the rooms deliver sweeping views of the Bosphorus vrom large windows, balconies, or private terraces, while others offer direct access to the property’s gardens, outdoor swimming pool, private boat dock, and luxury boutiques.
The property will also offer one of the most opulent and spacious suites available in Istanbul, Turkey’s largest city. The 5,490-square-foot Peninsula Suite will have its own hammam, gym and rooftop swimming pool.
The hotel’s collection of special-event venues includes a grand ballroom with terrace, which can accommodate 820 people for a seated banquet and 1,200 for standing cocktails; two conference rooms; VIP private dining and wine-taasting areas; and a number of alfresco spaces in its gardens overlooking the Bosphorus. All rooms feature state-of-the-art technology.
The Peninsula Istanbul will also offer:
