Hilton Saigon opened this month, marking the debut of Hilton’s flagship brand in Ho Chi Minh City.

“Vietnam is charting dynamic growth and fast establishing itself as a leading travel destination in Asia,” said Alan Watts, president, Asia Pacific, Hilton. “With the opening of Hilton Saigon, we mark Hilton’s highly anticipated entry into the gateway city of Ho Chi Minh City, and are well on course to surpassing 1,000 trading hotels in Asia Pacific by next year.”

Located 30 minutes from Tan Son Nhat Airport, the hotel is close to a number of cultural sites and historical landmarks, including the Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral, the Saigon Central Post Office, and the Saigon Opera House.

Hilton Saigon offers 228 guestrooms and suites with contemporary interiors, subtle botanical inspired design details, and views of the Saigon River.

It boasts one of the largest convention facilities in the city, featuring over 11,300 square feet of event space. This includes a pillarless Grand Ballroom that can accommodate up to 320 guests for weddings and 550 guests for conferences and other large-scale events. Planners looking to hold smaller meetings can choose from nine meeting rooms, ranging in size from 550 square feet to 5,328 square feet, outfitted with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and high-speed internet.

Other amenities at Hilton Saigon include:

  • the award-winning eforea Spa;
  • a swimming pool and fitness center;
  • and an executive lounge for guests staying in suites and executive rooms.

In addition, Hilton Saigon has four distinct dining concepts. Positioned in the heart of the property, Me Linh Lounge serves freshly-baked pastries, light snacks and refreshments throughout the day. The Strand is the hotel’s all-day dining establishment. It features a lounge, a Western kitchen and an Asian kitchen. Residence Eleven transports guests to the glamor of old China, offering a menu of Northern Chinese dishes made with seasonal and premium ingredients in a space that is a modern interpretation of Beijing heritage homes. And, opening in the coming months, Song Bar is a chic modern Chinese rooftop lounge with an outdoor terrace that overlooks the cityscape and Saigon River.
