Westin Hilton Head wrapping up reno

The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa expects to complete the $13.8 million renovation of its guestrooms and suites by early-February 2024.

The project saw the South Carolina resort’s 416 guestrooms increased to 420 guestrooms, including 32 suites.

The team at Ellis Adams Design has reimagined the rooms as luxurious coastal escapes. Taking cues from the outside environment, architectural details intertwine imperfect natural textures with organic forms while the room’s color palette draws from the island’s sandy shores, deep green foliage and clear blue skies.

In addition to guestrooms, the resort has 25 Carolina King Suites and four specialty suites.

  • The Carolina King Suites offer a dinette table, a comfortable entertainment area with a wet bar and a sleeper sofa, and two private balconies with views of the ocean, or the island’s greenery.
  • The Resort Bunk Suite (shown above) features a king bed, bunk beds, a dinette table, a large balcony, and an entertainment area with wet bar.
  • The Atlantic Suite, situated along the beachfront with premium ocean views, has separate sleeping and seating areas, a private balcony a separate powder room, and a wet bar.
  • The Vice-Presidential Suite has a king bedroom, connecting living room, walk-in closet, three balconies and a living area with a wet bar and powder room.
  • The Presidential Suite will feature an expansive master bedroom, adjoining living room, large dinner table, a private veranda, and extended balconies with views of the resort, the koi pond, and the Atlantic Ocean.

Alongside its renovated accommodations, Westin Hilton Head Island offers five drink and dine venues (including a signature seafood restaurant), three outdoor pools, a Peloton Studio, a WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio, and The Heavenly Spa by Westin Hilton Head Island. The property also has nearly 39,000 square feet of multi-use venue space. Highlights include the Grand Ocean Terrace, an oceanfront space elevated nine feet above the dunes; the Grand Ballroom, which can accommodate up to 1,000 guests; and a selection of outdoor venues on the white sand beaches of the Atlantic Ocean.
